Freyr Throwing Axe (SOLD)

Named after Freyr – the Norse God of peace and prosperity. Son of the sea God Njord, he is also associated with fertility, fair weather and good harvest. Freyr was also famous for his magical ship that could be folded up and put in his pocket, his golden boar and sword that fought on its own.

A Cold Steel Competition thrower, hand-customised with a one of a kind design. This one features a mix of greens, blue, black and gold. We also have accompanying canvases for most of our axes, so send us an email if you’d like both axe and canvas.

Perfect to take into battle, or to keep as a display piece. It features a drop-forged 1055 high carbon steel head with a straight, sharp, cutting edge, and a straight grained American hickory handle.
