FAQ

What is VR Gaming and who is it for?

Virtual reality is fully-immersive gaming offering single and multiplayer games and experiences, suitable for all ages from 9 years+, with no technical knowledge required whatsoever. Each session will feature a tutorial experience to learn how to use the headset and navigate the menus. You’ll start off with an introductory mini game, then you’ll be able to choose your own adventure. You’ll enjoy a fully immersive 3D experience in our soft matted gaming area,  with gameplay displayed on flatscreen TVs for your friends to follow your progress. Our VR Gaming area is perfect for friends, families, team-building and corporate days, as well as birthday parties and special occasions.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Your health and safety is always our number one priority. All headsets are fitted with  a silicone facemask that is replaced and cleaned after every session. We are following all COVID government guidelines to ensure our space and equipment is safe and sanitised.  Our soft matted area is spacious and clean, meaning there is no danger of bumping into anything or each other. As you are free to move around, there is an element of physical activity involved, but the level of exertion is completely up to you and how comfortable you feel.

What should I wear?

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in. There are no shoes allowed on our soft matted gaming area, so please wear socks too!

Can I wear the VR headset with glasses?

Yes, the headset is designed to work perfectly with all types of glasses and due to the way the optics work, most find they don’t need to wear them at all!

Can others come and watch?

Only paying customers will be allowed to use the gaming area, but feel free to bring friends or family to watch. Children must be supervised at all times.

Will there be food and drink available?

We have coffee, tea and soft drinks available. Currently we don’t serve food, but catering options are available for private functions. Send us an email to discuss your requirements.

Is there parking?

We have a large open car park. Just turn left as soon as you enter the site.

Are there toilet facilities?

We’re not completely stuck in the Viking Age. There are male, female and disabled toilets on site.

Can we drink alcohol beforehand?

No. We strongly advise against drinking alcohol beforehand. Should our instructors believe you’re under the influence, or behaving in an unsafe manner you’ll be asked to leave.

Can I play if I’m pregnant?

Yes, VR and Axe throwing are relatively low-intensity activities. But, if you have any concerns please consult a doctor first. If you are in the third trimester of your pregnancy, or up to 6-months post-partum, we strongly suggest speaking with your midwife or doctor before booking.

Covid Safety

We are following all guidelines set by the government, allowing us to continue to deliver a safe and fun training environment and experience. See our full Covid information here...
